TEACHER SALARIES

According to our Negotiated Agreement, teachers new to our District may be granted up to 5 years of previous experience if the experience obtained happened within the last 10 years.  For more information please see article 19-2 in the PEA negotiated agreement.

In order to move vertically on the salary schedule when the Board approves such movement, a full time teacher  must work for at least 100 school days in the previous school year.  To move horizontally, an employee must earn graduate level college credit, earned within the last 10 years, verified by official transcript.  Details regarding horizontal movement can be found in Article 19-3 of the negotiated agreement.
